Site visit,Busan metropolitan city

Site-visit in Busan Metropolitan city took place in July, 25 and 26 and was successful. Busan is now ready for Re-designation for the second time as an International Safe Community. The 3rd-designation signing ceremony will take place at the opening of the Korea National Safety Expo 

on 10 September.

The certifiers especially appreciated that Busan are developing a model for metropolitan cities as International Safe Community. It is of course not new criteria that must be fulfilled but advices to pay attention to the safety problems it is to govern such a big community with often two or more administrative and also often also pollical levels. Special safety problems also occur with a lot of migration of many people with different safety knowledge, attitude and behavior.
